A documented path from request to review-ready.
Beacon builds the intake, documentation, and support workflows around patient access programs. The clinical judgment stays with the treating physician at every step.
Expanded access intake
When a patient needs access to an investigational therapy outside a clinical trial, the treating physician needs a compliant, documented request. Our intake workflow captures the request, supports encrypted medical-record upload, and assembles a pre-filled, editable FDA Form 3926 the physician reviews and decides on. Beacon prepares the package; the physician, the sponsor, and FDA make the decisions.
- Secure, consent-aware patient and caregiver intake
- Token-gated encrypted medical record upload
- Pre-filled, editable FDA Form 3926 for physician review
- Review-ready expanded-access package
Pre-screening & recruitment
Structured pre-screening intakes help study teams identify potential participants without overpromising anyone. Interest submissions are recorded and routed to the responsible physician or coordinator — they never constitute eligibility, enrollment, or access to a therapy.
- Registry-specific interest and pre-screening intakes
- Physician referral and physician-led intake workflows
- Token-gated patient registration for active studies
Patient support
Participants and caregivers get a real person to talk to: questions about how a registry works, what happens to their data, and how to withdraw. Support is operational and administrative — it is not medical advice, treatment coordination, or a guarantee of any outcome.
- Plain-language answers about participation and data handling
- Withdrawal handled on request, at any time
- Escalation to the responsible physician for anything clinical
What an intake is not
Submitting an intake or expressing interest does not guarantee treatment, enrollment, physician approval, FDA authorization, IRB concurrence, or any therapeutic outcome. Eligibility and access decisions belong to licensed physicians, sponsors, and regulators. Beacon provides the documentation and infrastructure around those decisions.
